Notes
- Urban areas: 7% men, 5% women, 6% joint. Rural areas: 5% men, 3% women, 4% joint.
- Duty is charged on the higher of the agreement value and the collector (circle) rate.
- Haryana charges a fixed registration fee by value slab rather than a true percentage, rising to a maximum of ₹50,000 for properties above about ₹90 lakh (e.g. ₹15,000 at ₹25 lakh, ₹25,000 at ₹40–50 lakh).
- The 1% with a ₹50,000 cap used here is an upper-bound estimate for calculators; the actual slab fee is usually lower.
