RERA and approvals
Quarterly progress report (QPR)
The update a promoter files with the state RERA authority every quarter: bookings, approvals and construction status of a registered project.
Also called: QPR, quarterly update
Section 11(1) of the RERA Act requires the promoter to update the project's webpage on the authority's website every quarter. The update covers the number and types of units booked, the status of approvals, and the progress of construction. States prescribe their own formats and deadlines.
Sales data feeds this report directly. If your bookings register lives in scattered spreadsheets, the QPR becomes a scramble every quarter. A single source of truth for units booked, with dates, makes the filing a short task.
Watch outState authorities do act on missed filings. Check your state RERA portal for deadlines and penalties, and diarise them for every registered phase.
