Pricing and charges
Floor rise
A per sq ft charge that increases with floor level, for example ₹50 per sq ft per floor above the 4th. Reflects better views and less noise.
Also called: floor rise charge, FRC
Floor rise is a pricing rule that adds a fixed amount per sq ft for each floor above a threshold. Developers use it because higher floors usually sell at a premium.
Example: floor rise of ₹50 per sq ft per floor from the 5th floor. A 700 sq ft unit on the 12th floor has 8 chargeable floors (5th to 12th). Floor rise = 8 × ₹50 × 700 = ₹2,80,000.
TipConfigure floor rise as a rule on the tower, not as a manual line. A stacking plan that shows the computed price per unit makes it obvious when a quote is wrong.
